Treasurer

The branch Treasurer duties include paying bills, scrutinising expenditure, informing the branch of its financial position, advising on the necessity to raise funds and preparing statements of receipts. The Treasurer is responsible for the proper recording of all financial transactions. It is not the responsibility of the Treasurer to raise money; the Treasurer is acting for the branch and RCM headquarters. Full guidance can be found in the Branch Governance Handbook.

How the RCM will support you

• Support you wherever possible
• Put you in contact with the hundreds of other members who also act as Activists for the RCM
• Receive regular RCM Activists briefings by email with the latest information needed to fulfil your role
