Poole RCM Branch highlights their local Caring for You Campaign

By Nick Child, Senior Organiser (Networks) on 28 February 2019 RCM Branches

Poole RCM Branch held a successful study day which focused on their local #CaringForYou action plan. Led by their recently elected H&S rep Debbie Doherty, the whole branch team covered important subjects, such as Stress at Work and Coping with Menopause, highlighting how they're embedding C4Y in everything they do.

There were well over 40 midwives, MSWs and student midwives in attendance, along with the Dorset Better Births team, who came to update on the Pan Dorset Better Births Pathway.

At the end of the study day, attendees celebrated their outgoing H&S rep Carolyn Burden, who has contributed so much to her local RCM Branch over 20 years in a variety of roles. Good luck for the future Carolyn!

This is the first of many events this year for the award-winning branch. On June 21st Poole RCM Branch will be holding the Behind The Trauma study day in Dorset for all members across the South of England and beyond.
