RCM Branches - Caring for You in challenging times

Local Branches across the UK, together with their colleagues, managers and HoMs with the support of local businesses are keeping spirits up across the service during these very challenging times.

Some very positive stories are emerging of the amazing support for each other, including:

Powys Branch - have been busy looking after their staff putting out 9 Caring for You boxes in all their birth centres. Powys has unique challenges as it is very rural and geographically it is hugely spread out covering central Wales. (pictured)

Poole Branch – local shops such as TK Maxx and Homesense have been donating essential items and treats for staff (pictured). PMAs and branch activists are on hand for a scheduled listening service every day.

Swindon Branch – Currys donated a new fridge for the maternity team after their staff fridge broke down (pictured) and local business donations are also coming in fast. (pictured with the Trust Wellbeing Lead).

Yeovil Branch – The trust are making available emergency supplies provided through suppliers at cost price for staff.

Cardiff & Vale Branch – The local community are “sponsoring” hand cream products to be donated to the service.

Imperial Branch - 2 packages ready for both sites, home made cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot choc, sugar, pretzel sticks, grapes, hand cream with a letter and 10 copies of the supporting staff leaflet.

These are just a few of the little things that are helping to make a big difference.
