RCM statement on the current situation at Dr Gray’s maternity services

By RCM on 07 July 2017 Maternity Services

‘The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) was advised yesterday by concerned RCM midwife members from the Dr Gray’s unit on the proposed changes to maternity services in the Moray area.

The RCM understands that that the proposed changes will raise concerns in the local community and that  this will be a time of great concern to midwives and other maternity staff at Dr Gray’s.

We will be working proactively with our members and NHS Grampian managers to ensure that the quality of maternity services in the Moray area remains high and that our members’ working conditions and jobs are protected.”
