RCM celebrates record-breaking annual conference.
Nearly 3000 delegates attended the RCM annual conference 2017 in Manchester last week – the most attendees ever seen at an RCM conference.
The conference, which took place on 31 October and 1 November, saw 2184 delegates on the first day and 1337 on the second day, with 559 people attending both days.
This year was the first that admission to the conference was free, following feedback from previous years’ attendees that it was becoming too expensive.
It was also the first time that the conference app was able to host live polling and surveys, making the sessions fully interactive for all delegates.
RCM director of services to members Suzanne Tyler said: ‘With more perspectives from outside the world of healthcare, more sessions from members, a bigger exhibition and learning zone and more posters, I hope we met all your learning and development needs.’
