This course has been designed to enable participants to:

• learn the basics of massage and touch develop a basic understanding of central and systemic responses to massage in late pregnancy, labour and birth
• understand the importance of a conducive physical environment to optimise its effect
• demonstrate practical skills when performing basic techniques under pinned by science
• complementing parental adaptations to the fertile cycle
