RCM i-learn has a range of online learning modules designed to support members’ continuous professional development (CPD).
RCM Accreditation Scheme
We accredit learning and education activities that contribute to RCM members' continuing personal and professional development (CPPD) and in turn, this enhances safety and effectiveness of care.
RCM Library and information services
RCM members have access to more than 11,900 books and 457 journals including Nursing Notes. We're the only library in the world to hold the complete set.
E-books
We have a collection of 123 midwifery eBooks held on two platforms, called Dawsonera and MyiLibrary. All publications are available to view online or to download as PDFs.

Return to practice (RtP) midwifery courses are for registered midwives who have had a period of leave from midwifery practice.

The Midwives Tale Oral History Collection
These oral histories were recorded during research for the book The Midwife's Tale: an oral history from handywoman to professional midwife and were donated to the RCM archive in 2014 by Professor Billie Hunter and Nicky Leap.
New sepsis e-learning programme
A new learning package designed to help midwives and other clinicians to spot the early signs of sepsis in children and infants has been launched by Health Education England (HEE).
