Our Caring for You initiative does exactly what it says on the tin: offers advice and support for looking after ourselves when work-life can get the better of us. We understand that you face staff shortages, heavy workloads, long shifts, missed break times, bullying cultures and more. These work-related issues can have serious consequences to our overall mental and physical health as well as the quality and safety of care we provide.
Through the Caring for You programme, many RCM branches have improved conditions by working with employers to make the workplace better for everyone. The information you share with us also helps us pressure the Government to bring about positive changes to the workforce such as ongoing pay negotiations, staff shortages, banding and other inequalities faced.
